For the third time in five-years, our own hometown “winning” team the Minnesota Lynx of the WNBA have won another championship title. I’m not much of a sports fan, I don’t watch it on television, nor do I follow who is winning or losing. What I do know, from a fair and balanced perspective is the Minneapolis city council must consider doing the right thing and renaming the Target Center, The Lynx Center.

Yes, it’s that simple.

The all woman WNBA basketball team has brought pride to Minnesota sports fans  starving for a championship team. So let’s celebrate the legacy they have created in Minnesota and give them a building named after Minnesota’s most winning team…The Minnesota Lynx!
